ABOUT US

Project Link is a community outreach initiative. Our mission is to educate the public on the severity of HIV transmission throughout the Florida Parishes region, which includes Livingston, St. Helena, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Washington Parish. The program encourages communities to take advantage of testing centers and available treatment options.

According to the CDC, testing is a critical component of prevention efforts because when people learn they are affected, research shows they will take steps to protect their health and prevent transmission to others. By linking individuals to care, the program aims to ensure people living with HIV receive the life-saving medical treatment necessary. Meanwhile, reducing the risks of further exposure and transmission to others,
